It is time to start preparing for Young Women Camp

Please save the date to attend a planning meeting on

April 11

@ 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

in the Lafayette 3rd/4th Building

At this meeting we will distribute paperwork, distribute certification assignments, finalize decisions on camp sweatshirts, and most importantly begin collaborating on fun camp ideas.  Lunch will be provided as well.  We are excited to meet with all Camp Specialists and Youth Camp Leaders (YCL).

Decisions Determine Destiny: I've Already Decided

2015 marks a monumental year for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Indiana.  So many of us are looking forward to the completion and temple dedication of our very own temple in Indianapolis.  We are thrilled to know that another "House of the Lord" will be available for us to attend in such close proximity and will offer the great opportunity to serve within its walls as long as we are worthy.  With this great opportunity, comes decisions to be made today.  Decisions that if made correctly will help define a celestial destiny. Our girls camp theme this year will invite our campers to consider their daily decisions and how those decisions will affect their ability to enter the house of the Lord and eventually enter his presence some day.  Our theme is based off the wise and prophetic counsel of President Thomas S. Monson in an address given to young adults and a recent General Conference talk given by Russell M. Nelson.  
At camp, girls will have many opportunities to come to know each other, nature, learn new skills that can be helpful in life, and with this overall spiritual theme, make their decision now to steer their destiny into worthily entering the house of the Lord.
